Beginners, improvers and experts

Our RYA catamaran courses are suitable for people who have never sailed before or for dinghy sailors wishing to learn the different skills of catamaran sailing.

We can also provide conversion courses for dinghy sailors who already have a level 2 certificate wishing to gain a catamaran sailing certificate.

RYA courses follow a level based structure starting at level 1 and progressing to level 4 and then specialist modules and suit those expecting to continue progression in the UK or other RYA centres.

RYA courses usually require two days of theory and sailing but can be spread over an equivalent number of sessions.
